Downtime is important, and as we approach the week before christmas, its time to close up the office and spend time with family and loved-ones.
Wishing all our clients and friends a Merry Christmas and thanks again for your support during 2021! 2021 has had its challenges, and we look forward to meeting up again in 2022, for new challenges and opportunities.
Well its been a busy week
Well what a busy week; we have been tied up in Log4j vulnerabililty and it was a real challenge dealing with that beast just before we shutdown for the Christmas Holidays.
The NCSC-NL has a great github repo about log4shell, so if you havn’t yet found it below is the link
TrustedSec have also put to gether a great response playbook
So rather than duplicate their hard work, its only fair we reference them both, and their great resources.
SANS Annual Holiday Hack Challenge
There has also been the SANS Annual Holiday Hack. We have finished the annual CTF but wont be releasing our answers publicly until after the 4th January, so if you want any cheats or the full solution please remeber to revisit our blog in the New Year!.
The SANS Holiday Hack challenge was again very enjoyable, I encourage all Info/Cyber -Sec individuals to give it a go, it caters for all skill levels, and you will definately learn some new skills!
